Sizing

When choosing a size, consider the following:

  1. Jackets, shirts and vests are generously cut and have no tapering at the bottom. Vests have tabs at the waist to pull it in slightly if you choose. Jackets have two buttons on the cuff so you can tighten the sleeve. I also include two extra buttons.
  2. Since Layering is needed for the best outdoor comfort  measure yourself wearing standard layering choices such as, Merino Wool undergarment, woolen shirt, and woolen vest. This can add up to 2 inches or more to your jacket size, shirt size and vest size.
  3. If you are young or have not worn the same size for many years, then one size larger may be a good choice if you intend for this to be useful for you for many years to come. Most men will increase in size as they age.
  4. Sleeve length should go to just above your knuckles otherwise when you lift your arms (to drive, cast, shoot, or take a photo) your sleeve can ride up 1 ½ to 2 inches and expose your wrists.
  5. If you are over 6 feet you should order a Tall. Talls are 1 ½ inches longer in the sleeve and the body length.

How to measure:

  1. Chest – Measure around the fullest part of your chest, just under the arms and across shoulder blades with the tape parallel to the floor.
  2. Sleeve length -Measure from the center back of the neck, over the shoulder, and down a slightly bent elbow to the wrist.
  3. Head – Measure around largest part of head with tape above brow and parallel to the floor.
